SUMMARY

4.5/5

The Trade Stocks – Virtual Stock Market Trading app is a mobile platform aimed explicitly towards beginner traders. This app is different in that no real trading is performed through this platform; it’s all practice! Though the app was just released in December 2020, it already has over 50 downloads, and the users are enjoying it already. The app has several recent five-star reviews from users who all appear to enjoy the app and its capabilities.
Within the Trade Stocks – Virtual Stock Market Trading app, you’ll get practice with both long and short investments in CFD trading. Before we dig any deeper into this app’s features, we’d like to review long vs. short trading.

Long trading occurs when investors purchase a stock with the expectation that their stock’s value will rise. When the value of their stock does rise, they sell their stock and earn a profit. In contrast, a short stock is not owned by the investor but rather “borrowed.” Investors with short stocks will sell them because they predict the stock’s value will decrease, and they would prefer to instead buy the stock (to own it) at a lower price. Regardless of your preference, or if you’d like to practice with both types of trades, the Trade Stocks – Virtual Stock Market Trading app accommodates your ability to practice!

Fees

4.5/5
One of the app’s most attractive features is that it’s free, which means anyone who is even remotely interested in the stock market can try their hand at some virtual trading with no real stake. Those who already know they want to be involved in the stock market will benefit from developing and refining strategies. One may wonder if a free app such as the Trade Stocks – Virtual Stock Market app is legit. Yes! This app is an excellent way to practice trading. We highly recommend this app to anyone who is even remotely interested in the stock market. It’s a great way to develop a strategy and play around with features that are common in many trading platforms. We have one recommendation for those who are brand new to trading – often, novice traders will use practice platforms in a riskier way due to the lack of stakes. We recommend that you go in with the mindset of having actual capital invested so that you can make the most of your practice and learn to manage some anxieties that often accompany the stock market.

If you would like to use this app, you’ll first need to download it from wherever you typically download apps onto your phone. Android and iPhone users should be able to find this app by searching for the title in their app store. Once the app is downloaded and open it, you’ll be asked a series of questions to set your preferences on CFD asset options, the amount you wish to invest in your trades, and leverages. You’ll have the ability to simulate buying and selling stocks based on your predictions. You can also set your preferences to automatically close your trade at a particular loss or gain point; this feature is particularly useful for those who do not wish to monitor their trades 24/7, which is everyone!

Deposit & Withdrawal

Because this app is a simulation, there are no deposits required to use the features.

Trading & Platform

4.5/5

The app has features that simulate a live platform, which makes the practice that much more real. The stocks included within the app that users can practice with include Tesla, Paypal, Discovery Inc, Bank of America, Facebook, Apple, and Microsoft. These are companies that most people are familiar with, so it’s good practice to be using real data and stats. In addition to these stock options, the app contains a live news feed on global news stories that may impact the stock market, profit/stop lose features, data on market trends and price movements, and more. There is 24/7 support available, so users can feel comfortable knowing that help is just a click away at any time; there are also tutorials and step-by-step instructions to help guide novice traders.
Of course, nothing in life is perfect; we will address some of the platform’s limitations. Users report that there is a limitation on how many transactions they can execute in one day, so it may take longer to hone your strategy depending on how many you are allowed to execute each day. Users are not allowed to set how much money they begin with, which can limit those who want to simulate large trades. Finally, users state that the app does not include options trading, which would make the platform more well-rounded. Despite these limitations, the app is still relatively new, so we may see some updates to address these limitations in the near future. Should updates occur, we will be sure to update this article!
Above all, have fun! As always, happy trading, friends.
